DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is a treatment that was created by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D. initially in order to help people who chronically struggle with suicide and / or Borderline Personality Disorder.  In the years since DBT was created, DBT has been used to help people with a wide-range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, addiction, and PTSD.

In its standard form, DBT has four components including 1) DBT Skills Training, 2)DBT Individual Therapy, 3) DBT Phone Coaching, and 4) DBT Therapist Consultation Team

I specialize in DBT Skills Training and do not currently offer DBT Individual Therapy, Phone Coaching, or Consultation Team.  I have been "intensively trained" in DBT by Marsha Linehan's training company, BTECH and I have 10 years of experience facilitating DBT Skills Training Classes.

I work with clients both individually and in my DBT Skills Training Classes on learning, practicing, and integrating the DBT Skills into their lives.

There are increasing numbers of research studies showing that DBT Skills Training alone can be very helpful and effective for people with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, relational, mental, and spiritual difficulties.
